Faculty sites: Menus are available on Advanced and Full-Scale faculty sites. If you would like a menu, upgrade your faculty site from Simple.
Menu items can be enabled or disabled. You may want to disable a menu item if you want to temporarily remove the item from the menu, or it can not be deleted because it is a system menu item like the Home link. You can re-enable a menu item at any time.
Note: Enabling or disabling a menu item does not publish or unpublish a page. The page may still be accessed by anyone even if its menu item is disabled. You can publish or unpublish a page when editing a page to remove public access to a page. Unpublished pages do not show up in the menu for people who do not have access to them.
Edit the main menu
There are two ways to edit the menu
- The edit menu button on the left of the main menu area.
- The site settings button in the upper left of the page, the click the Manage Menu link.
Enable and disable menu items
On the edit main menu page, checkboxes in the Enabled column indicate if the menu item is enabled or not. You can check or uncheck the box to show and hide a menu item.
